From 2018-11-01 to 2018-11-03 Jiang was excited for his first visit to Brussels. As a 22-year-old business undergraduate from Shanghai, this was his first visit to Europe and to the commercial center of Belgium. He wanted to immerse himself in the culture, see the historic grand square surrounded by shops and restaurants, and stroll along the city's charming streets. On November 1st, Jiang landed at Brussels airport and took the train into the city center. He checked into his boutique hotel and began to explore. The magnificent architecture, cafes, and open squares all looked so European. He enjoyed fresh Belgian waffles and coffee while watching people ride their bicycles. As night fell, Jiang went to see the grand Gothic town hall. Its spires shone brightly under the lights. He felt a sense of magical history and romance surrounding him.
